Description
So I started drawing this many months ago and today finally finished her, but without a face! xD I need to practice faces again! I had the idea of a girl who is a beautiful warrior, but her protective metal skirt is connected together in a fashion that resembles a peacock! One day I will draw her whole body, but for now I just wanted to upload something I FINALLY half-ass finished! ;__;
I would love critique for the whole thing in general, but some tips I am really looking for is tips for painting skin and hair, and of course better line art!

As for skin tone; just find a reference and sample colours from it. Colors aren't copyrighted, particularly in a photo. Find an actor or actress with a similar skin tone, and the lighting you want, and you can sample the lighest colours, medium, and darker colours from the shadows, and use those; it will help a lot. You can also use the reference to guide your painting, and placement of shadows and highlights.
